A fusion of traditional and modern hospitality located on Jumeirah beach, ideal for business travellers and those looking for extensive leisure facilities. The hotel is just minutes from Dubai's best shopping malls, Ski Dubai, Emirates Golf Club, Wild Wadi water park, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City.
The hotel boasts a fully-equipped health club and spa with 6 treatment rooms, sauna and steam room, a temperature controlled pool and a private beach including a variety of water sports, both motorised and non-motorised, and there is a covered paddling pool and play area for the little ones.
The Spa Manager will be responsible for managing, supporting and motivating The Spa Team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, consistently exceeding expectations. They will initiate, implement and monitor processes and procedures to ensure the effective operation, development and profitability of The Spa.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to work and interact at all levels of the organisation and external environment.
- Established operational experience within the leisure/hospitality sector.
- Sound financial / management understanding
- Excellent selling & communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Training, development and coaching skills with the ability to delegate effectively, influence and achieve results through others.
- Creativity, drive and initiative. Ability to maintain effectiveness in a pressurised environment and translate opportunities into action plans.
- Commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Able to work flexibly to suit the hours and needs of the business.
- Able to travel away from home to visit clubs, attend meetings and training workshops as and when required.
Minimum experience / education level:
- Experience in a commercial business environment with a proven track record.
- Experience/knowledge of the Spa/hospitality market preferred.
- Pre-opening experience (not essential)
