The College works closely with Active Skills to identify employer needs, and provides bespoke training packages to meet the operational needs of organisations.

‘Trafford College's Employer Engagement unit is a unique way of working for FE colleges in offering a tailor-made service to employers such as Total Fitness.  I would encourage other colleges to follow this model as engaging with employers is key to the success of the sector. In addition to this, along with the support of the County Sport Partnership in Manchester, Employers, Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and ourselves Trafford College are offering a unique service for those adults economically inactive within the North West such as long-term unemployed adults.  Workforce Development is becoming crucially important for Sport and Active Leisure Organisations so it is very useful to have a wide variety of quality solutions we can offer for our sector.'
