New fitness instructor TV channel launches

A new TV channel has launched, offering people fitness instructor workouts in the comfort of their own homes.

Fitness TV, which aims to lower obesity and poor health in the UK, claims to be the country's first dedicated health and fitness channel, boasting workout programmes and general shows containing nutritional advice.

As well as providing a resource for those in personal training jobs, the channel will also be pitched at a wide audience, with everyone from children through to elderly people expected to benefit from its exercise routines.

Luan Underwood, founder of the channel and a former personal trainer, commented that Fitness TV should help people to fit exercise around their busy daily lives.

The channel will now be available to watch on Sky TV channel 282 and on the internet.

Exercise videos in kids' yoga, street dance and legs, bums and tums workouts are all on offer on the channel's website.
