New CSL speakers confirmed
New speakers have been unveiled for this month's Careers in Sport and Leisure (CSL) event.
Attending leisure jobs seekers already know they will hear from Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew, who is set to be joined by a number of other high-profile speakers.
A wide range of industry sectors will be covered in the speeches, including recruitment, leisure attractions, fitness instructor and personal training.
Among them will be Phil Smith, director of sport at Sport England and chief executive officer at the National Skills Academy Florence Orban.
The CSL national careers event will be held on March 25th and 26th 2009 and will be the first careers exhibition of its kind in the UK.
CSL was initially launched to support the 200,000 qualified leisure job seekers that leave university or college with limited understanding of the industry opportunities available to them.
Other confirmed speakers include Kevin Roberts, editor of Sports Business International and Sue Tibballs, chief executive officer at the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation.
