Center Parcs celebrates spa successes
Center Parcs has been celebrating the successes of its spa and beauty therapy facilities during the 15th anniversary of its Longleat Forest site.
The village first opened to guests on July 14th 1994 and has since grown to welcome more than 4.6 million visitors.
During the last 15 years, the firm has produced a number of groundbreaking spa developments, with trained beauty therapists offering a wide variety of innovative services.
Its Aqua Sana and World of Spa concepts, which offer things like reflexology and steam baths, were both pioneered at Longleat.
Following a successful introduction, the multi-sensory spa facilities were later extended to three other UK Center Parcs villages.
The firm estimates that since it opened, more than 834,600 nails have now been painted in the Aqua Sana facility.
Andy De'Ath, general manager, commented that a lot of Longleat's success can be put down to its dedicated employees.
He said: "Over 95 per cent of colleagues live in the immediate locality of the village and feel a sense of pride about their work. We now employ over 1300 people, 47 of whom made up the original team of 700 when we first opened."
