The National Skills Academy

The National Skills Academy (NSA) will revolutionise the sport and active leisure industry by providing one single, coherent approach to all skills training in the sector. Opening in late 2008, it will be the best place to go to and find information on and access to the qualifications and training needed to most effectively do your job (paid or voluntary) in the industry.

SENIOR TUTOR £28-£32k depending on experience.

Candidates will be on REPs at Level 3 with at least 3 years' experience of teaching and ideally degree qualified. Holding or working towards a teaching certificate would be ideal (C&G 7407, PGCE or Cert Ed, essential by 2010) and assessor awards (A1, A2).

TUTORS £24-£28k depending on experience.

A teaching qualification is desirable but essential by 2010. Experience working through NVQ programmes would be

beneficial. The candidate will need to be on REPs at level 3 and a minimum of three years teaching.

Venue areas for both roles are Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Sheffield. All roles require a high degree of flexibility and will involve travel.
