In order for this to be achieved we have developed a market leading programme to highlight and develop our senior managers of the future, this programme is called the ASCENT programme.
So what does our ASCENT programme involve? This content is the biggest factor that sets aside our programme from all others within this, and other industries.
The ASCENT programme is entirely unique to each and every individual on the programme; you will highlight along with your ASCENT mentors and coaches, which areas you feel you need development within, we will ensure that you receive the tools to make this development happen.
The programme highlights and develops within 3 key areas:
Functional Development
Over the period of your programme you will undergo training and ongoing assesssment in the key functional areas of our business, you will gain a greater understanding of Sales, Loyalty, Member Services, Health & Safety and People Management. You will become a confident and knowledgeable leader in the Esporta Business.
Leadership Development
The second key area of the programme is Core Leadership Development. Here you will develop a greater understanding of the 'soft skills' that make good leaders great. Amongst other areas you will learn effective Communication Skills, Teambuilding and Cohesiveness, Commercial and Financial Awareness as well as learning how to Manage Change and learnining to be effective in a changing environment
Core Projects
The final area of the programme is that of Core Projects. Underpinning your entire development programme will be core business projects structured to offer you the development you need in vital areas as well as driving key business results. These projects may be in club, across regions or driving the business as a whole. Wherever they are they will be demanding and stretch you to your limits.
